Somewhere I once saw a note that said ‘Life is About Using the Whole Box of Crayons’!
This is my ‘BOX OF CRAYONS’!
My box of crayons gives me a place to use the many colors of life like feel, see, hear, smell or touch.
My box of crayons gives me a place to also share the many colors of thoughts, opinions, information, guidance, or even gibberish that I may have with the hopes that I can color within the lines of trust, honesty, faith, hope and love.
Some days I will use my crayons to color within the lines of life itself or maybe just what life is within my neighborhood.
Some days I will use my crayons to color within the lines of what the world needs to hear and maybe think about according to the user of the crayons.
Some days I will use my crayons to color the lines of truth within the big picture of our grand country and the roads it seems to be taking.
Some days I will use my crayons to color the lines of just my neighborhood or at least the state of which my box of crayons may reside.
Today I will color you some brief drawings of ideas, thoughts and concerns I see happening within the world I live from the heart of a country I love so dear, drawings for which will call for further discussion in later writes about my box of crayons.
My first crayons for today will be those that direct drawings of thoughts about the great gift of earth for which we all reside and the responsibilities for which we have in taking care of it.
Regardless of the faith for which a person may use as guidance for the travels they are on, being a steward of this gift of earth we live on is a priority in pretty much each faith one may follow. While the earth is obviously here to help us sustain, we must remember to do so without bouncing out of control the patterns that our God or higher power may have designed and that includes remembering the fine balance of the why each being, and plant works to make the planet work.
Another set of crayons will be set aside to help draw out the concept of deception(s) and why they are being used to dismantle life as we may know it for the support and livelihood of a few.
The third set of crayons I have gathered will be used to draw the footprint of how we interdepend on others and that we all are a piece of the grand puzzle of life. A pretty good reason for taking care of each other because I can say for a fact that without all the puzzle pieces to click together, the picture within your puzzle will never be whole and constantly will be looking for ways to fill the holes within it.
A fourth set of crayons to be used within my initial group of word drawings most likely will be used in putting together a pattern of misconceptions within our lives as we live them in these times. Misconceptions may be found in our thoughts of others, our feelings toward others and even our simple judgement of others whom may not know even on a talking or personal basis.
So, for now I have pulled out at least four sets of crayons from my own crayons of life to share with others over the next few days or weeks or months, it all depends on where the word drawings take me and those will depend on what I see, feel, hear, smell or touch in the world around me.
That my friend is how I plan to share my box of crayons – my box about life and the world around us.
Looking forward to taking the adventure with each and everyone that may think my word drawings are important enough to see and hear.
With that, I simply say thanx – from Will.
