We all have our own thoughts, opinions, ideas – all of which we seemingly treasure as our own and unique, all of which come through what we decipher from family, friends, news and the world around us.
We all at one time or another like the opportunity to share those thoughts, opinions, ideas – you know let off some steam or maybe just to say ‘hey this is my opinion’.
That’s what ‘News View’ is about, an opportunity to take a few bits of current and/or more recent past news and putting our personal imprint and/or opinion on it.
So from somewhere nearly in the heart of the United States where views of news literally comes from television, the internet and yes even some newspapers and magazines (some of us still read them) – here comes a View of the News.
The News – One week to go before the election and we are still discussing emails and not the important things like jobs, securing social security, immigration, mess in the Middle East and more. Even with the emails discussions, it is all one sided – why are we not talking the Trump emails or lack of them.
The View – I for one am tired about hearing about the email crap. Has anyone everyone thought that maybe Hillary Clinton is like many of us and may actually be technically challenged in many areas.
The latest emails did not even come from Clinton herself, but other folks in her staff – so once again the right-wing nuts think we should invest another pile of taxpayer money to look into to it, just in case they can find Clinton’s name somewhere. I know what I call it, but will not print that here.
What about the Trump emails, or should we say the lack of them.
In a recent story published by Newsweek magazine, I read that details have come to light that Donald Trump and his companies have systematically destroyed or hidden thousands of emails, digital records and paper documents demanded in official proceedings, often in defiance of court orders.
You know, I am really tired of the constant Hillary bashing and the millions of taxpayer dollars that have been spent trying to bring her down.
The Benghazi thing was ludicrous as the reason the embassy was over run had to do with the lack of proper funding for increased security. Increased security which had been requested by both the Secretary of State Clinton and President Obama, all of which was voted against by the Republican led congress (you know, the folks who are supposed to writing bills).
While so many want us to get our ‘panties in a wad’ over another so called email goof, the truth is the right-wing republicans have already begun to do with Clinton what they did with President Obama – obstruct our government and the care of our citizens because they do not like her!!
I have friends and even family that seem to think Trump is a gift because of his so called business credentials, when those credentials are simply to use debt to make him rich while running over or bullying creditors to the point of not paying them or paying just a fraction of what they are due.
If we want to see a real mess in the world, then keep paying attention to the false accusations involving emails and ignoring the bully attitude, thin-skinned, bigoted policies that Trump would put in Washington and see how the world responds – it will not be pretty.
See I made a posting about the emails without getting into the hundreds of thousands that the Bush/Cheney administration deleted from usage on private servers, wonder how many of those had high security details within them – I am guessing just a few hundred thousands.
One week to go to the Presidential election – time is ticking, click, click, click – make sure you observe, study and respond to the facts of the candidates and not to the smears and falsehoods that are being covered by the media.
You may agree or disagree with what I post – it is always your choice, but I do ask for those who are compelled to leave a comment, compliment or rant (and I do encourage folks to speak their peace), you must be respectful of those who may not agree and be willing to agree to disagree and walk away as friends and fellow citizens trying to take care of our grand country together. Those who are not respectful – well I will claim the right to dismiss those such individuals once they have been given the request to cease the lack of respectfulness.
