‘Grumpy Gramps’ comes from having been around the walks of life now for a good long time and since my grandkids once in a while say ‘oh, oh, Gramps/Papa is grumpy’ – well it just seemed to be fitting to call these spouts of ‘getting something off my chest’ as coming from ‘Grumpy Gramps’.

Living near the heart of the United States, literally as I could get a map out and it looks like we are pretty darn close, means we have to rely on bigger news networks beyond our couple of local media to keep up with what is going on with the upcoming Presidential vote.

For one I will clear the air right now – I do not watch or listen to FOX News because they do not tell the truth and are way, way too slanted to the right for the safety of our country.  What FOX News has done is an excellent job of helping with the dumbing down of the knowledge of current events for those who do listen, more explanation may come in another posting.

I will admit, Meghan Kelly is one of the few who I might listen to just because she stood up to Donald Trump from the beginning and was not going to let his bigoted comments go unnoticed.

So yes I do listen to Public Radio News, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC – and yes many say they all lean to the left too far, but nothing any of them have to offer go nearly to the far reaches that FOX news does.

The biggest thing to me is the lack of common sense news broadcasting to the people, to the humanity of those that listen.

It seems that every news cast has to have a slant of some sort and we have fallen way behind the times of solid, well-rounded news that came from Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather, Tom Brokaw, Peter Jennings, Chet Huntley, David Brinkley, Charles Kuralt and others.

For the humanity of the future we must be presented news with views from various angles and given the opportunity to decide, to find the common sense to what is going on.

For the future of humanity the news folks need to be willing to stand up and push back at Donald Trump and force him to answer questions on why he thinks bankruptcy is a solid business practice, why he thinks women are second fiddle people, why all his clothing line are made everywhere but in the United States, why he dodged the Vietnam mess, why he thinks he is above others and will not give us his tax stuff, you know just ask him, drill him the tough questions.

For the future of humanity our congress folks in Washington absolutely must be held accountable for wasting our taxpaying money on big wars, military equipment, corporate tax breaks and incentives and the NRA instead of using it for the people that pay it and need it like the homeless, the disabled, the elderly, the disadvantaged, the education of our future.

Humanity depends on each other to get along and work together, not to corrupt the administrators while favoring the haves and ignoring or putting the thumbs on the have nots – and that my friend comes from a divine order whether you are Christian, Buddhist, Jewish or Muslim.

So for the humanity of it all – let’s get on the politicians, our country administrators and pin them to the wall until they do their job or fire their a$#%$ and send them home to maybe have to work like a normal joe citizen.

So for today ‘Grumpy Gramps’ says “treat politicians like the employees of the people that they are – if not doing the job, then send them home”.

There you have it, another ‘Grumpy Gramps’ and while many may be spewing about things they don’t like or see has being wrong – many times it will be just ‘getting it off my chest’ type of sharing.  So enjoy, think about it and if you feel the need or want – send me a comment or two and ‘Grumpy Gramps’ promises to get back to you.
